Jasova Falls On Day One of ITA Championships

After being selected as only one of eight NAIA tennis players to compete at the 2013 USTA/ITA National Small College Championships, the #7- seed Dominika Jasova fell to second seeded Theresa Schmaus from SCAD-Savannah, 6-4, 6-0, in the opening round of the tournament.

"It was a very good match and intense from the first point," said head coach Andre Ferreira. "I was proud of Dominika for the way she competed as she fought hard and did not give up against a very good opponent".

Jasova continues through the tournament today as she faces Kateryna Shkot from Oklahoma Baptist University.
