Tennis Falls To UTC

The #6 Brenau Golden Tigers tennis team fell to NCAA Division I University of Tennessee-Chattanooga 7-0 on Wednesday.

In doubles play, the #2 team of Dominika Jasova and Zalina Nazarova defeated the team of Kayla Jones and Katie Polk 8-7 (7-2), however per NCAA Division I rules, the team that wins two out of three doubles matches wins the doubles point. After losing the other two doubles matches, Brenau entered singles play down 1-0.

In singles play, the Golden Tigers competed hard, but were unable to capture a win.
