Tennis National Championship Schedule Announced

The #6 Brenau tennis team is ranked as the sixth seed in the 34th Annual NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship and will receive a bye in the first round of the single elimination tournament.

The Golden Tigers will then face the winner of IU-Southeast (Ind.) and Oklahoma Baptist University in the second round.

The championships, held in Mobile, Alabama from May 13-17, will play host to the top 24 teams in the nation.

Brenau is 24-12 in its 14 NAIA Tournament appearances and won two national championships in 1999 and 2002.

Four teams from the Southern States Athletic Conference qualified for the championships as Auburn-Montgomery University, University of Mobile and College of Coastal Georgia join the Golden Tigers in search of a National Championship.
