Rives Commits to Tennis

Brenau tennis announces the signing of Paula Rives to the 2014-2015 team.

Rives, a native of Barcelona, Spain, is the daughter of Esperanza Paula and Juan Carlos Rives. She was a standout player for the GCIT club team who participated in both the Spanish team championships and Catalonia championships and was ranked among the top-100 junior players in Spain.

When asked about her commitment, Rives said that signing with Brenau would "help achieve my academics goals and continue with my real passion for tennis. Brenau has a competitive team, so it is a great opportunity for me to never stop growing as a player". Rives also noted that,"I had the chance to meet Coach Ferreira and all the team and they made me feel that Brenau was the best decision".

Rives plans on majoring in Marketing and Organizational Leadership and is the third signee for 2014-15.
