#7 Tennis Earns Two SSAC Wins
The #7 Brenau tennis team rolled through SSAC opponents Loyola (La.) University and Belhaven (Miss.) University in Mobile (Ala.) on Saturday.
Against Loyola, the Golden Tigers swept through doubles play, and then dominated singles for a 9-0 win.
In the afternoon matchup, Brenau continued their strong doubles play as the Golden Tigers won all three matches for an early lead.
In singles play, #2 Maria Perdomo opened with a 6-0, 6-0 win over the Blazers' Stephanie Smith, while Patricia Recalde finished the match at #4 singles with a 6-1, 6-2 victory.
Brenau (3-2 overall, 3-0 SSAC) next takes on SSAC newcomer Middle Georgia State College on Saturday at 10 am CST.
