Tennis Rises in Latest NAIA Poll
The Brenau tennis team climbed one spot in the 2016 NAIA Women's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 Poll released on Tuesday by the national office.
The Golden Tigers jumped from seventh to sixth after their undefeated West Coast trip as wins over San Diego (Calif) Christian College (RV), Biola (Calif) University and #10 Westmont (Calif) College helped propel the rise in the standings.
SSAC opponent Auburn-Montgomery stayed on top of the poll, while fellow conference members Middle Georgia (8th), William Carey (Miss.) (13th) and Mobile (Ala.) (23rd) rounded out the Top-25.
Brenau continues their rigorous regular season schedule as they face Dalton State (Ga.) College on Friday in Dalton, Georgia.
