Charoensirisutthikul Named NAIA Player of the Week

Peeraya Charoensirisutthikul has been named the NAIA National Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Charoensirisuttikhul was selected based on her performances from April 18 - April 24 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

Along with Player of the Week honors, Charoensirisuttikhul also earned the Appalachian Athletic Conference Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year awards. She was also named to the All-Conference Team, All-Freshman Team, All-Academic Team, and Champions of Character Team.

The freshman helped lead the Golden Tigers to an undefeated season in the conference, as well as the conference title. She finishes the regular season with a singles record of 9-8 and a doubles record of 12-8.
