#7 Tennis Rolls Past Olivet Nazarene University

Gainesville, Georgia- The #7 Brenau tennis team defeated Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) University 4-0 in a non-conference matchup on Wednesday.

The Golden Tigers rolled through doubles play as Peeraya Charoensirisutthikul and Juana Zambrano defeated Dana Huck and Jovana Parlic with a 6-3 victory and then Natalie Bowen and Valentina Pabon shutout Emma Bush and Ann Coddington 6-0.

In singles play, #1 Elyse Lavender cruised past Nirva Patel, 6-2, 6-3, to give the Golden Tigers a 2-0 team lead, then at #3 singles, Juana Zambrano dispatched Jovana Parlic with a 6-1, 6-3 win. At #2 singles, Peeraya Charoensirisutthikul defeated Nirva Patel 6-2, 6-3 to clinch the final match of the season.

Brenau (7-1 overall, 2-0 AAC) concludes the 2020 regular season ranked seventh in the NAIA.
