Tennis Competes at Piedmont Invite in Fall Opener

Demorest, Georgia- Members of the Brenau tennis team competed at the Piedmont Invitational this past weekend to open the 2022 fall season.

In singles play, individual winners include:

Kristina Radovic def. Cailin Cifra (Methodist) 8-2 and Megan Kidd (Methodist) 8-2;

Yousra Hidass def. Alyssa McSpadden (Piedmont) 8-6;

Sally Brannon def. Veva Willocks (Methodist) 8-7 (5);

Shaloom Delgado Forero def. Kamdyn Balko (Methodist) 8-5 and Mia Vasher (Piedmont) 8-3;

Cady Geddings def. Brooke Garland (Brevard) 8-6;

MaryWynn Brannon def. Marion Sloyan (Piedmont) 8-1;

The squad continues its fall season at the ITA Fall Regionals September 16-18 hosted by Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, Ga.
