Tennis Storms Past Firestorm 6-1

Gainesville, Georgia-The Brenau tennis team defeated Arizona Christian University 6-1 in a non-conference matchup on Wednesday.

The Golden Tigers swept eight of nine matches en route to the victory over the visiting Firestorm (2-5 overall).  

According to head coach Andre Ferriera, “I am thankful to Arizona Christian for traveling to Georgia to play us. We don't often have the opportunity to compete with a team from the GSAC conference. It's a great experience for both teams, players, coaches and the NAIA as a whole. We had a great battle today and I hope we will have a chance to play Arizona Christian again in the future..”

Brenau (5-2 overall, 3-2 AAC) next hosts Emmanuel (Ga.) College (2-6 overall) on Friday at 3 pm.
