Gainesville, Georgia- The Brenau tennis team defeated Montreat (NC) College 6-1 to capture its first Appalachian Athletic Conference win on Tuesday.

The Golden Tigers started quickly in doubles competition as the #1 team of Kristina Radovic and Emma Ackerman and the #3 pairing of Nadja Noriega-Alcala and Bryson Bishop both won their matches to take the doubles point.

In singles competition, the Golden Tigers won five of six matches to clinch the overall team victory.
