Kitson Earns AAC Indoor Track Field Athlete of the Week Honors

Waleska, Georgia- Sophomore Madison Kitson earned Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Indoor Track and Field Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

The San Antonio, Tx. native captured top honors in the long jump at the Life U Super Bowl Indoor/Outdoor meet with a leap of 5.99m, which made the NAIA "A" standard. She followed up with a 2nd place finish in the triple jump with a 11.35 mark.

This is Kitson's first AAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor this season, as well as the indoor squad's first AAC Athlete of the Week honor this season.
