It showed us our strengths, gives us a benchmark to determine where we are and helps us see what we need to do to improve. It was a very big venue to get started and a long drawn-out event. I was very pleased with the enthusiasm, the competitiveness and the determination of our athletes. Our goal was to compete hard and see where we stand. Everyone competed well and we set very strong marks for this early in the season. This meet was important to help us work on our weaknesses and have everyone ready by the SSAC championships."
