Track Duo Named As NAIA Scholar-Athletes
Two members of the Brenau track team were honored as 2016 Daktronics-NAIA Women's Outdoor Track and Field Scholar-Athletes, as released by the NAIA national office.
Track athletes Aubrey Fearnow and Andrea Holloway were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements.
Members of the Scholar-Athlete team must maintain a minimum grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
The honor was the second postseason accolade for Fearnow, who was also named the 2016 SSAC Field Athlete of the Year for her performance at the SSAC Championships in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
