Track Competes at Emory Classic
At the Emory Classic, members of the Brenau track and field team competed in a highly competitive field this past weekend in Atlanta.
The squad was led by a pair of top five finishers as Ayana Daniels and Destiny Gaudlock each showed well in the meet. Daniels finished fifth in the high jump with a leap of 3.05m, while Gaudlock also placed fifth in the javelin with a throw of 32.95m.

Kanyisola Anjorin, 11th place, 100 hurdles (16:13);
Bianca Braz, 23rd place, 5000 meter run (20:36.63);
Deborah Ekeanyanwu, 17th place, 400 meter dash (1:00.88); 14th place, high jump (1.50m);
Nia Griffin, seventh place, 800 meter run (2:22.10);
Myia Neal, 17th place, 100 meter dash (12.89); 21st place, 200 meter dash (26.69) ; 10th place, 100 hurdles (16:13); 16th place, long jump (4.96m);
4x100 relay team of Myia Neal, Jasmine Reese, Tatyiana McClendon and Kanyisola Anjorin, seventh place (49:63);
4x400 relay team of Ayana Daniels, Deborah Ekeanyanwu, Tatiyana McClendon and Nia Griffin, eighth place (4:09.43);
4x800 relay team of Keri Ashworth, Elizabeth Lowe, Gloria Clark and Taylor Love, seventh place, (11:19.54);
The squad next competes April 6th and 7th at the Susan Rouse Invitational, hosted by Southern Wesleyan University in Central, SC.
