Johnson Commits to Golden Tigers Track

The Brenau University track and field team and head coach Byron Kramer announce the signing of Jasmine Johnson to the 2022-23 signing class.

Johnson, the daughter of Gwenda and Eddie Johnson, is a graduate of Tattnall County High School in Reidsville, Ga.. During her prep career, Johnson was a two-time All-Region team member and set the Tattnall County High School triple jump mark. She was also a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Clubs.

When asked about her commitment to Brenau, the sprinter and jumper said, "Signing with the Golden Tigers was a joy for me because being able to go to their practice and not feel like an outsider, but feel like I was already on the team was a highlight."

Johnson will study nursing while at Brenau.
