Track Receives 2023 AAC Postseason Recognition

Waleska, Georgia- Members of the Brenau outdoor track and field team received 2023 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAAC) women’s lacrosse postseason honors, the conference office announced on Monday.

Briona Bierkamp, Jayda Burkett, Isabella Evangelista, Katherine Fourie, Taylor Green, Cassidy Hunter, Oluwatomisin John, Jailyn Kendrick, Angelica Richards and Kayland Thomason each received 2023 AAC All-Academic honors for their academic performance. 

Team members must have a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade point average and have achieved at least sophomore status.

Additionally, Jailyn Kendrick received the Champions of Character award. The award goes to the student-athlete who best exemplifies the NAIA Five Core Values of respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and servant leadership.
