Track and Field Competes at Lee Invitational

Cleveland, Tennessee- The Brenau outdoor track and field team competed at the Lee Invitational, hosted by Lee University this past weekend.

In the 4x100 relay, Emelia Askew, Kamryn Chambliss, Jasmine Johnson, and Kendra Martin and Jasmine Johnson placed seventh in a time of 50.62.

Individual finishers for the Golden Tigers include: 

Averie Akin: 27th place, 800 meters, 2:35.54; 34th place, 1500 meter run, 5:17.29;

Emelia Askew: 12th place, pole vault, 2.39m

Gladys Blanco Choque: 13th place, 10,000 meters, 46:31.03; 

Jerrica Bryant: 9th place, shot put, 10.89m; 17th place, discus, 28.94m; 38th place, hammer throw, 23.91m;

Kamryn Chambliss: 13th place, 400 meters, 1:01.37; 14th place, 200 meters, 26.17;

Abigail Gentry: 16th place, heptathlon, 902 points;

Kaitlin Gould: 13th place, pole vault, 2.24m; 51st place, 800 meters, 3:19.70; 

Taylor Green: 46th place, 800 meters, 2:58.36; 

Mikhailah Hayes: 29th place, 400 meters, 1:11.43; 43rd place, 800 meters, 2:54.09;

Jasmine Johnson: 8th place, triple jump, 9.85m; 15th place, javelin, 22.52m; 16th place, 100 meters, 12.71;

Kendra Martin: 6th place, 100 meter, 12.27; 20th place, 200 meters, 26.42;

Madi McMahan: 28th place, 400 meters, 1:10.94; 37th place, 800 meters, 2:47.53;

Laila Reed: 14th place, javelin, 23.74m; 18th place, long jump, 4.26m; 28th place, shot put, 8.27m;

The Golden Tigers next compete at the Kennesaw State Invite on Friday.
