Track Shows Well at Emory Outdoor Meet
Atlanta, Georgia- The Brenau track and field team continued its strong start to the outdoor season with a solid return performance at the Emory Thrills in the Hills meet, hosted by Emory (Ga.) University this weekend.
Sophomore Madison Kitson again showed well for the second consecutive week by winning two events.. The San Antonio, Texas native won the triple jump with a leap of 11.89 meters and then secured top honors in the long jump with a leap of 5.83 meters. She followed up that performance with a 3rd place in the 200 meters in 24.48.
Junior Jerrica Bryant also had a solid showing with a 5th place finish in the shot put (11.97m) and a 17th place nod in the discus (29.17m). Sophomore Jennaya Coucoules added a top-ten finish by placing 8th in the high jump in 1.48m and also had a 23rd place in shot put (9.00m).

The squad now looks ahead to the UWG Legends Invitational, hosted by the University of West Georgia on April 3rd and 4th.
