Berry Snaps Brenau Win Streak

Mt. Berry, GA- The Brenau volleyball team (20-8) lost in four games tonight to Berry to snap a five game winning streak by scores of 15-25, 25-22, 23-25 and 14-25. The Tigers had a rare off night and were never really in the match. Co-Captain Audra VanArsdale had 22 assists, four blocks, and four digs and Meredith Hardin came up with eight blocks, three kills and two digs.Alexis Arthur had seven kills and three digs and Courtney Frady had seven kills and eight digs, while Maida Smajic came up with 21 digs. Freshmen Patricia Passos and Danelle Russell had 10 and eight digs respectively. Brenau will return to conference play, hosting Faulkner on Thursday night at the Brenau gym.
