Kelsey Aley Named Golden Tiger of the Week

Gainesville, Ga. - Senior Outside Hitter Kelsey Aley (Tallahassee, Fl) was selected as Golden Tiger of the Week for the week of Oct. 11-18 in the closest contest of the year. Kelsey was a force to be reckoned with when the Brenau volleyball team defeated Brewton Parker for its first conference win. She was all over the court...she did a tremendous job with solo blocking, while also being a huge asset to the offensive attack. Just from that match alone, she accumulated 6 kills (with no hitting errors), which gave her a .500 hitting percentage. For those of you who are not aware, this is extremely hard to accomplish in college volleyball. She acquired 3 service aces and 2 digs...and by herself, she received 8 stuffed blocks.
