SSAC Volleyball Championships Schedule Released

For the 2013 Southern States Athletic Conference Volleyball Championships, the Brenau Golden Tigers volleyball team will begin play with two matches on Thursday at the Cramton Bowl Multiplex in Montgomery, Alabama.

At 10:00 am central, the #8 seed Brenau will face # 2 seed University of Mobile. In their second match of the day at 3:00 pm on Court 1, the Golden Tigers will face #5 seed Emmanuel.

All nine conference teams will participate in pool play, and the two highest undefeated seeds will move directly to semifinals. The next four highest teams will advance to play in the quarterfinals and will be reseeded after pool play based on their original seed and finish, qualifying as the 3-6 seeds.

The semifinals will be held on Saturday afternoon with the championship match to be held that afternoon at 4:00 central.
