Volleyball Picked Fourth In SSAC Preseason Poll
The Brenau University volleyball team was selected fourth in the 2014-2015 Southern States (SSAC) Preseason Coaches Volleyball Poll.
Under the new leadership of head coach Michael Carter, the team looks to continue to climb the rankings after their seventh place finish in 2013.
The Golden Tigers return nine letter winners to this year's team including 2012 SSAC Second-Team All-Conference selection Sydney Koon, who missed last season due to injury.
College of Coastal Georgia and the University of Mobile (Ala.) were picked as co-favorites to win the 2014 SSAC crown after finishing second and fourth respectively in 2013.
Last year's conference champion, Spring Hill College and third place finisher Southern Wesleyan (S.C.) University, are no longer SSAC members.
