Volleyball Overwhelms Martin Methodist
The Brenau volleyball team honored their seniors on Senior Day with a resounding 3-0 win over Martin Methodist (Tenn.) College in Gainesville.
The Golden Tigers dominated the match 25-19, 25-16 and 25-12 to secure their 17th win of the season.
Senior Sydney Koon led Brenau with 18 kills, 12 digs and a 0.517 attack percentage. Lindsay Kelly added 9 digs, while fellow senior Chelsea Foster added 20 assists.
"With the last few big conference wins, we are playing some of our best volleyball of the season," said head coach Michael Carter. "Hopefully that momentum will carry through the end of the season and into the conference tournament".
"I'm especially proud of our senior and very happy for how they are finishing this season".
Brenau (17-10, 9-6 SSAC) travels to Montreat (N.C.) on Thursday for a 6:30 pm non-conference matchup.
