Three Volleyball Players Honored as Scholar-Athletes

Brenau volleyball players Chelsea Foster, Bailey Hicks and Lindsay Kelly were named Dakstats-NAIA Women's Volleyball Scholar-Athletes for their academic successes.

For Foster and Kelly, this is their second Scholar-Athlete award as both were honored as juniors for their accomplishments.

Hicks, a Buford, Ga. native, is a first-time team selection for this honor.

"I am very proud of Chelsea, Lindsay and Bailey," said head coach Michael Carter. "They have accomplished some great things, not only on the court, but especially in the classroom. They truly epitomize the ideal of the student-athlete".

All scholar-athlete selections must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
