Ighile Signs with Brenau Volleyball

Brenau volleyball announces the signing of Nicole Ighile to the 2015 team.

Ighile was a standout player for Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia and for the Atlanta Boom volleyball club.

At Stephenson, she was voted Best Defensive Player and led the team in kills and blocks.

"I'm so excited to start the season and join my teammates," said Ighile. "I can't wait to get started, to learn new things and to become a better player."

"Nicole is a special athlete and a special person," said head coach Michael Carter. "I'm thrilled to have her join the Golden Tigers volleyball team as a member of an outstanding 2015 class that has the potential to do great things here at the University."

Ighile, who plans on majoring in Mass Communications, is the fourth signee for the 2015 team.
