Volleyball Comes Up Short Against Reinhardt

The Brenau volleyball team pushed Reinhardt (Ga.) University to four sets, but ultimately fell 3-1 (18-25, 25-23, 24-26, 23-25) on Wednesday in Gainesville.

After coming up short in the first set, the Golden Tigers rallied to win the second set 26-24. However, the Eagles' attack proved to be too much, winning the last two sets and closing out the match.

Sydney Koon led the Golden Tigers with 13 kills, while Carly Praznik added 15 digs. Bailey Hicks had 15 assists and 12 digs, while Cayla Graham chipped in 10 digs.

Brenau (6-10 overall, 1-5 SSAC) returns to conference play with home matches on Friday against Brewton Parker (Ga.) College at 7 pm and on Saturday at 12 pm against College of Coastal Georgia (13) in Gainesville.
