Volleyball Dominates Fort Valley State

The Brenau volleyball team used a strong attack to breeze past Fort Valley State (Ga.) University 3-0 in a non-conference matchup in Fort Valley, Georgia on Tuesday.

After a dominating first set win, the Golden Tigers won the second set 25-15 and cruised to a 25-10 third set victory. Brenau set a season-high in attack percentage (.413) and a season-low 11 errors.

Jasmine Jones led the attack with 11 kills, while Tiffany Ozieh added six kills. Pam Konken and Bailey Hicks combined for 35 assists in the match.

Brenau (8-11, 2-6 SSAC) next returns to the SSAC schedule on Friday when the Golden Tigers travel to Martin Methodist for a 7 pm eastern showdown in Pulaski, Tennessee.
