Volleyball Falls to Middle Georgia and Life

The Brenau volleyball team dropped a pair of matches at the Life Running Eagle Classic on Thursday in Marietta, Georgia.
The Golden Tigers fell to both Middle Georgia State 19-25, 15-25, 23-25 and host Life 16-25, 25-18, 21-25, 8-25 to fall to 1-9 on the season.
Nitaira Wilkes had 23 assists and 12 digs in the matches, while Jordan Diaz added 13 kills and nine digs. Savannah Combs also contributed 36 digs total for the day.
Brenau next opens Appalachian Athletic Conference play on Tuesday against Truett-McConnell College (0-5) at 6:30 eastern in Gainesville.
