Volleyball Falls in AAC Tournament

The Brenau volleyball team's season ended with a loss to Reinhardt (Ga.) University at the 2017 Appalachian Athletic Conference tournament in Kingsport, Tennessee on Thursday.

The Golden Tigers fell 3-0 (17-25, 14-25, 16-25) to the top-seeded Eagles in the opening round of the tournament. The squad struggled offensively with a .101 hitting percentage compared to a .308 percentage for Reinhardt.

Karlee Moss had a match-high 13 kills, while Lanier Leonard added seven kills. Savannah Wilbanks added 19 assists and Savannah Combs had 16 digs.

Brenau (9-22 overall, 8-10 AAC) graduates no seniors and returns 15 letter winners to next year's squad.
