In the second matchup, Brenau kept the first set close, but again were unable to capitalize as the Eagles won 3-0 (22-25, 9-25, 9-25).
Brenau pushed the Eagles in the first set when freshman Chloe Bennett notched one of her team-high seven kills to cut the deficit to 21-20. However, again Reinhardt closed the match on a 4-1 run to take the set. The Eagles carried that momentum through the rest of the match to take the second and third sets 25-9, 25-9.
