Volleyball Defeats Columbia 3-0 on Senior Day

Gainesville, Georgia- On Senior Day, the Brenau volleyball team defeated Columbia (SC) College 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-18) in an Appalachian Athletic Conference contest on Saturday

Brenau controlled all three matches and outhit the visiting Koalas .500 to .286 to secure the team’s ninth victory of the season.

Senor Chloe Bennett led the Golden Tigers’ attack with 10 kills, while senior Mary Ellen Enright added 8 kills. Freshman Claire Beckman and junior Malone Davis each added 6 kills to the win. 

Senior setter Gabrielle Hogle also notched 32 assists. 

Brenau (9-15 overall, 7-9 AAC) next travels to Reinhardt (Ga) University (19-5 overall, 12-4 AAC) in an Appalachian Athletic Conference matchup at 6:30 pm on Tuesday.
