Eight Volleyball Players Receive NAIA Scholar Athlete Recognition
Kansas City, Mo.- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced Wednesday that eight Brenau volleyball players have been named as 2023 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, the national office announced this week.
Seniors Chloe Bennett, Madison Brock, Mary Ellen Enright and Gabrielle Hogle, junior Malone Davis, and sophomores Ashlyn Browning, Dallas Morse and Sarah Wages each were honored for their academic performances.
In total, 1,200 volleyball student-athletes were identified as NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
