Ogechi Leads Brenau At Southern Challenge

Marietta, GA- Junior transfer Regina Ogechi returned to her old JC course today at Chattahoochee Technical College and led Brenau to a 4th place finish by finishing 18th with a time of 22:21, her best time of the season. Audra Cochran slipped a couple of times on the wet course, but still managed to finish 21st (22:35) and right behind her was Maria Gonzalez, who ran her best race of the year to record a 22:37, good enough for 22nd place.Monica Muchene (23:27), Shkurte Ejupi (23:55), Kelly Young (24:33) and Ashley McCoy (25:04) rounded out the team for the Tigers, who will now be off until Oct. 24 when they journey to Louisville, KY for their next race.
