Audra Cochran Is Golden Tiger of the Week

Gainesville, Ga - Senior runner Audra Cochran was selected by the coaching staff at Brenau yesterday as Golden Tiger of the Week for the week of Sept. 20-27. Cochran finished in third place at the Southern Wesleyan Warrior Invitational last Saturday and recorded a time of 21:21 for the 5K race. The Tigers finished third out of the six teams in attendance as Freshman Ana Lopera and Junior Maria Gonzalez also recorded top 10 finishes.

Audra has consistently been the top runner for the Brenau cross country team for the past three years and Coach Susan McIntyre was pleased with her selection for GTOW. "Audra works very hard and is extremely dedicated to her sport in addition to outstanding acheivement in the classrom. In a sport like ours where you don't get much attention for your efforts, we are happy to see her get this recognition."

Brenau will travel to Louisville, KY this Saturday to compete in the Southeast Invitational.
