Williams Joins Brenau Cross Country

Coach Susan McIntyre is pleased to announce the signing of Natalie Williams, a runner from NW Whitfield High School to the 2013-2014 Brenau University Golden Tiger cross country team.

Williams, a four year letterman for the cross country team, was also a standout athlete in swimming and track.

When asked about her decision to commit to Brenau, Williams discussed the academic and athletic opportunities saying, "First, because of academics and their up and coming physical therapy graduate program, but the athletic aspect really pushed me to 'yes' for Brenau". A strong student, Williams is a Zell Miller Scholarship recipient and an alternate for the prestigious Brenau Scholars program.

Coach McIntyre noted her strong character and academic success saying, "Natalie will provide depth and a positive influence to our young team. Her academics will help in the quest to earn the highest GPA out of the fall sports teams."

Williams in the first signee for the 2013-2014 team which returns seven runners from last season's squad.
