Gordon Commits to Cross Country and Track

The Brenau University track and field program announces the signing of Felicia Gordon to the 2015-16 team.

Gordon, who will compete with both the cross country and track teams, is a graduate of Jasper County High School in Monticello, Ga. A middle and long distance runner, Felicia placed seventh in the mile run at the 4-AA Region track meet this past season with a best time of 6:52.70. In addition, she will be counted on in the 800 meter run and has a personal best of 2:56.31.

"We are excited for Felicia to join us this coming season," said head coach Rick Ludwig. "She is a young runner with tremendous potential and once she starts training year-round as a distance runner, the sky is the limit."

"Felicia has a positive attitude and desire to excel. She is strong academically and should thrive here at Brenau."
