Cross Country Runs At Koala Classic
Freshman Bianca Braz earned a top-20 finish to pace the Brenau cross country team at the Koala Classic, hosted by Columbia College on Saturday in Columbia, SC.
The freshman placed 17th place overall with a time of 22:24, while teammate Sydney Romine earned a 38th overall finish in 24:15. Other top-six Brenau runners include LaDaisha Williams (25:08/42nd place), Elizabeth Lowe (25:09/43rd), Harley Stephens (25:37/45th) and Giovanna Sifontes (27:07/50th place).
The Golden Tigers placed sixth overall as a team as NCAA Division I University of South Carolina won the meet. Tusculum (Tn.) College, host Columbia College, Francis Marion (SC) University and Bob Jones (SC) University rounded out the top five teams.
The squad next runs on Saturday at the Berry Invitational in Mt. Berry, Georgia in the last regular season race before the AAC Championships in Waleska, Georgia on November 4th.
