Cross Country Runners Receive Post-Season Honors

The Appalachian Athletic Conference honored three Brenau cross country runners for their outstanding achievements, the conference office announced on Wednesday.

Felicia Gordon and Giovanna Sifontes were each honored as 2017 AAC All-Academic team members for their academic successes.

All-Academic team members must have attained a 3.25 or higher grade point average and have completed at least two terms of attendance to qualify for this honor.

Elizabeth Lowe also was chosen as the Brenau Champions of Character award winner. The Champions of Character award is given to the team member that best represents the NAIA Five Core Values of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship and Servant Leadership.
