Dixon Named AAC Runner of the Week

Waleska, Georgia- Senior Kamille Dixson earned Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Runner of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

Dixon, a senior from Houston, Texas, captured first place at the 2024 Bruins XC Night Classic this past week. She ran a time of 15:32 in the 4K race and edged out teammate Averie Akin for her first individual title as a Golden Tiger.  

This is Dixon’s first AAC Player of the Week honor and the first AAC Athlete of the Week recognition for the Golden Tigers this season.
