Soccer Hosts Johnson in 2025 AAC Soccer Conference Tournament

Waleska, Georgia- The Brenau soccer team hosts Johnson (Tenn.) University in the opening round of the 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Soccer Tournament, the conference announced on Saturday.

The #7-seeded Golden Tigers (8-7-1 overall) previously defeated the #10-seed Royals (5-10-1) by a 1-0 score earlier in the season. In that match, senior Sophia Schweizer scored the lone goal, while sophomore keeper Zyara Gonzalez-Galeano saved five shots for the clean sheet.

Brenau won the tiebreaker over Montreat (NC) College by virtue of defeating the Cavaliers 1-0 in a regular-season matchup.
